On the palate, the Georges Duboeuf Le Clos Reyssier 1er Cru Pouilly-Fuissé 2020 is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of tropical fruit, baked apple, and a touch of toast. The wine's vibrant acidity is perfectly balanced by its creamy texture, leading to a long, satisfying finish. This wine is an excellent pairing for grilled seafood, roasted chicken, and creamy pasta dishes.

Juicy on the palate, with cherry and goji berries amongst fresh herbs, sarsaparilla-root, rosemary and rhubarb.

The tannin is fine and the finish lip-smacking.

"A 50/50% mix of upper and lower Yarra fruit. Fermented with mainly whole berries and matured in French oak (10% new). A bright ruby crimson. Expressive with aromas of satsuma plums, strawberry coulis, fennel seeds and a hint of star anise. With its core of ripe yet well-delineated fruit and firm-ish, balanced tannins, this is more concentrated and muscular than the 2021. It will age well, too, for those that find themselves with a bottle seven to 10 years from now." - Philip Rich
