Bleasdale has been growing Malbec since the late 1800’s and produced the regions first Malbec table wine in 1961.
This is an elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with intense aromas of mixed berries, woody herbs dark chocolate and violets. The palate is smooth and persistent, with blackcurrant and spicy oak flavours, before finishing with soft and subtle tannins.
Sparkling wine is often pitched as a celebration wine, but we see no need to restrict its consumption purely to celebratory occasions. Some of our favourite times to drink bubbles are not noteworthy occasions at all, simply moments worthy of a delicious, refreshing drink! The Adelaide Hills is renowned for high quality cool-climate Chardonnay, so there was no question as to where we would look for our first Blanc de Blancs. Careful fruit selection and attentive winemaking give a fresh-fruited wine with some nutty complexity and interest from lees contact. This is an elegant wine with ‘Granny Smith’ apple acidity and almond biscotti flavours combining into a delicious drink to enjoy with friends. Serve chilled — around 8° to 10°C.
A medium weight red wine with lifted blueberry fruit and cherry cola notes, wild thyme, star anise, savoury and earthy characters. Depth and personality from the Shiraz with notes of rain on hot gravel, clove and citrus. Lifted fruit flavour with a fine chalky finish. Perfect when watching a summer thunderstorm.

A light touch of oak and soft, rounded tannins are followed by fresh fruits, making this a balanced and easy drinking wine.
Very aromatic, spicy black fruit, moderate acidity, rounded and smooth. Elegant. We expect this wine to age well for 30 years or more.
The wines are quite elegant, with high natural acidity and low alcohols. Powerful minerality and texture are this year’s trademarks.
2020 was a complicated vintage due to Covid management but it produced delicate, deep, spicy wines. It is a very elegant and subtle Alion.
2021 was a vintage to savour, to enjoy tasting the grapes, with their crisp, fruity skins and noble textures. The wines developed gently and the winemaking flowed smoothly. It was a year to remember and one that we are very proud of. A balanced, silky and profound vintage.
