Red and black cherry are the hallmark fruit qualities in the 2018 Mornington Peninsula Estate Pinot Noir.

Notes of black tea, blood orange, florals, spice, earth, dried herbs and forest floor, with a lick of tiramisu.

A ruby red wine with fresh red cherries, strawberry, bramble and floral notes. The smooth, silky palate brings beautifully balanced acidity, subtle tannins and a fruity finish.

Mrs Smith Pinot Noir 2017 is a lighter style of Yarra Valley Pinot- raspberry, cherry and plum balanced perfectly with the savoury spices of nutmeg and a touch of musk.

Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir has an aromatic front palate, which displays these same characters in abundance. The mid palate is elegant and precise, and the wine flows beautifully into a textural finish, framing fine-grained tannin, fruit and acidity.

Deep crimson in colour with a perfumed bouquet of strawberry & herbs, rich and savoury with hints of rhubarb & dark cherry, firm balanced tannins and the masterful use of French oak (20% new) add to the complexity providing a wine that will reward patient cellaring.

Aroma runs to red cherry, raspberry and a little rhubarb, with dried herbs, orange peel and a whiff of crushed leaf behind. On the palate the fruit is tart and clean, more sour cherry than jam, with a faint peppery edge and a subtle earthiness that stops it reading as simply juicy.

With 50% fruit from Lenswood and 50% from Piccadilly the Phaeton has layers of complexity. With a dense core of fruit and beautiful aromatic fragrance the Phaeton is still delicate and pure with cherries and forest floor berries, subtle spice, and a touch of warm earthiness. It perfectly showcases the delicate characters of Pinot Noir from the Lenswood and Piccadilly sub-regions.
