2020 was a complicated vintage due to Covid management but it produced delicate, deep, spicy wines. It is a very elegant and subtle Alion.

2021 was a vintage to savour, to enjoy tasting the grapes, with their crisp, fruity skins and noble textures. The wines developed gently and the winemaking flowed smoothly. It was a year to remember and one that we are very proud of. A balanced, silky and profound vintage.

Spanish goodness: 75% Garnacha, 25% Tempranillo

Garnet-red colour with purple hues, clear and bright. Complex ripe fruit aromas well integrated with subtle spicy hints of vanilla and caramel. A very rounded, well-balanced wine with a full, long aftertaste.

Wide, silky and balanced, taste with some complexity and great persistence. Pairing: Meat, pasta, tapas, and not very cured cheeses.

Soft with good structure and long and persistent end. Pairing: Red meat, lamb and game. Medium-cured cheeses.

Bright garnet colour. Complex with a wide range of aromas on the nose (tobacco, dry fruits and balsamic notes). Smooth, velvety, enveloping, well structured, with a fruity and aromatic finish. Very good length.

Deep ruby red colour, clean and bright. On the nose, it stands out for its intense and complex aroma, where black fruit and plums combine with hints of licorice, accompanied by balsamic notes of bay leaf and a subtle touch of black tea. On the palate, it is elegant and smooth, with a bright and pleasant structure. The long finish is savoury and well-balanced, leaving a lasting sensation that will tempt you to continue sipping.

Vibrant red cherry colour, with a medium-high intensity, clean and bright. On the nose, it is fresh and intense, highlighting the aromas of forest fruits that are integrated in a balanced way with oak notes and a spicy touch that adds complexity. 

Bright, deep ruby-red colour. On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile, where notes of black fruit and liquorice combine well with hints of wild herbs, elegant spices, and subtle toasted nuances.

White stone fruit flavours with a good acid backbone and great use of oak.

This is a classic style chardonnay but one of the good ones that survived past the 80's!

Saignee, technically meaning “to bleed game meat or poultry”, refers to the way we ‘bleed’ juice for this wine. We allow the Farr Rising pinot noir fruit to sit in tank for two to three hours before bleeding free-run juice at a suitable colour for rosé production. This process concentrates the pinot ferment, but we also produce a barrel-fermented rosé. Natural barrel fermentation at cool temperatures is followed by full malolacitc fermentation. The wine is then placed in four- and five-year-old barrels for 10 months before being filtered and bottled.

Juicy and vibrant, bursting with red berries, a touch of spice, and a smooth finish.

This dry Italian red made from 100% Montepulciano from Abruzzo presents aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. Medium body, medium tannins, fully good. Enjoy with a hearty stew or BBQ.
