This is my favorite vintage of Cantemerle since 1989. This is not a wine that needs a lot of cellaring time. Give it another 2-3 years and drink it up before it hits 20, to enjoy its delicate charms.

The tannins are firm yet well-integrated, and the finish is long and elegant. This is a wine that will age beautifully over the next decade or more.

On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered, showcasing a concentrated core of dark fruit framed by firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness. The finish is long and herbal, reflecting the wine's depth and complexity.
