Fresh and precise, the nose is a clarion call of freshly picked stone fruits and saline, mineral notes — white peach, nectarine, dried pineapple, nougat, vanilla bean ice cream and sea spray. The most elegant Om Santi Chardonnay yet, the 2021 vintage is so graceful and seamless, you could almost miss it — if it weren’t so delicious. Effortless power with a mouthwatering salinity and oyster-shell minerality set over a succulent, creamy texture, Om Santi is complex yet understated, with a lightness of touch despite its immense power and weight.

Crisp, clean and spine-tinglingly dry, the wine has an ethereal delicacy thanks to its modest 11.5% alcohol and fine acidity. The texture calls to mind wet river stones and oyster shell, building to an exquisite finish full of freshly squeezed lime and mandarin.

An aromatically generous helping of fresh stone fruit and cream leaning back in to a very generous yet structured palate.

It has a complex interplay of floral, candied fruit, marzipan, bush honey, vanilla pod and toasted almond characters. It seems to expand on the palate to become unctuous, mouth
filling and luscious, yet a counterfoil of refreshing acidity keeps it perfectly balanced and prevents any cloying. The aromas and flavours linger on the palate long after it is swallowed.
