Made from Viura grapes and barrel fermented - this is an antisocial wine as your dinner party will stop talking for a moment - but then it will get more social as it is enjoyed!
Bright garnet colour. Complex with a wide range of aromas on the nose (tobacco, dry fruits and balsamic notes). Smooth, velvety, enveloping, well structured, with a fruity and aromatic finish. Very good length.
Deep ruby red colour, clean and bright. On the nose, it stands out for its intense and complex aroma, where black fruit and plums combine with hints of licorice, accompanied by balsamic notes of bay leaf and a subtle touch of black tea. Whiffs of white pepper and coriander seed add to the complexity. The bright dark berries of the nose follow through onto a juicy, abundant palate with classic red liquorice and fresh cherry flavours. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with a broad, weighty midpalate, yet the mouthfeel is smooth, gentle. Lively acidity and svelte, velvety tannins are balanced and add to the elegance, focus and energy of the wine. Hints of cherry tobacco and exotic spice linger on a pure, dry finish.

Chardonnay grapes from Clarksburg have characteristic of apple and pear aroma. This creates an elegant counterpart, full of fresh fruit, including touches of pineapple and guava. The elegant and creamy mouthfeel wraps around the fruit and leads to tones of spice, nutmeg and toasty vanilla.
