Very dark, very deep, and very powerful - an impressive array of dark fruits - blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot & Petit Verdot
Cabernet Franc Merlot Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot
Powerful, with a ripe core of tannins and a long, velvety finish - intertwined berry crumble, forest floor, cassis and blackberries, married with grilled chestnuts and toasted breadcrumbs.
An average of 20% whole-bunch across multiple parcels. Some wines racked early, while others remain on lees until the last minute. After blending, there's a further month of maturation on light lees in reorganised oak before racking and bottling in-house, with no filtration.
Fresh & generous - perfectly ripe peach & lemon curd with a pure and long finish.
The red grape colours have precipitated away over time, leaving a true ‘tawny’ colour after two decades in barrel. A powerful and complex nose full of nuts, toffee, intense spice and fresh rancio characters reflect its age and complexity. On the palate, toffee, mocha, coffee and intense nuttiness all combine to create rich luscious flavours. The finish is long with lingering flavours of a fine very old fortified.
Ripe berry, smoky plum, cherry and dark chocolate show on the palate with a long sweet fruit finish.
Ripe berry, plum, cherry and chocolate show on the palate with a long sweet fruit finish.
Soft and subtle palate of red fruits and fine grained tannins with aromas of blackberries, plums and spice with good focus and length.
Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and Black Doris plums, a rich and silky smooth palate with fine grainy tannins to match the fruit. Excellent value, drinking fantastically well now and will develop and cellar for several years.
A unique Blanc de Noir was made from 100% Pinot noir grapes.
