This off-dry Riesling hails from erste lage Schützenhaus (the German equivalent of a "Grand-cru") from a single vinyard on a south-west facing slope, protecting it from the area's notorious eastern winds. Notes of peach, citrus and yellow apple shine through, with a little residual sugar to make things fun, and pronounced acidity to keep it in check.
