Friday June 14th Tonight we are in for an absolute treat... Stuart Olsen, the winemaker of the brilliant Eloquesta, is coming in to the store to show off his magnificent product. Not only this but we will be sampling some of the 2011 barrel. Stuart is bringing in a taster of his Petit Verdot barrel, some of his Shiraz barrel and the early stages of the 2011 Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot blend! Now, you really DON'T get that everyday!! Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot 2010 Maybe our best red wine find of the year! We are overwhelmed by the response for those we have forced this wine upon. This wine is absolutely stunning. Deep in purple and very perfumed. Violets, musk and blueberries on the nose is what you get upfront, opening further with decanting - leading to a very juicy and fleshy blackfruited palate with firm acid and line of tannins that linger. Stuart Olsen (winemaker) is a genius!
