3 different Escarpment Estate Pinot Noirs

Much like the great wines of Burgundy, Escarpment’s names their top Pinot Noirs after the vineyards from which the grapes were grown, rather than the grape variety. The Single Vineyard Kupe, Pahi, Te Rehua and Kiwa demonstrate this philosophy with distinctive elegance and character.

We will be pouring an escalating line up of three Escarpment Pinot Noirs We will start with the 'Noir' 2021 is very affordable and great value at this price - awesome for the current budget conscience climate. The Estate 2019 Pinot Noir will show off a more elegant and fruit driven expression that packs a personality that is far more opulent than it's Estate status. Lastly will be the Te Rehua 2020 Pinot Noir a unique single vineyard site that brings a richer fruit profile and more robust styled Pinot Noir whilst highlighting the dense tannin structure from Martinborough. A unique site derived complexity and texture combined with black cherry and plum fruit along with tight savoury nuances of forest floor, black tea and licorice.
