Winemaker in the house! Eloquesta Wines

This Friday 5-7pm, Eloquesta's winemaker will be pouring 2 of his latest experiments. Their tasting notes don't even do them justice. 

Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot 2018 has the most inviting nose of pink marshmallow, lavender, purple and white flowers, dried red berries and anise. The palate has the signature blend note of black plums and violets along with black currant syrup, cola and subtle earthy notes of black leather, dried green herbs, gingerbread and black olive. The palate is broader and riper than the previous vintage and the tannin acid structure of the wine, while giving great length and freshness is still very ripe and mouth watering. The Eloquesta Shiraz Petit Verdot 2018 will improve for 10 years or more.

The Eloquesta Mudgee Single Vineyard 2016 Chardonnay displays very subtle notes of white blossom, vanilla, sandalwood spice, marshmallow, white plum, cream bun, pear drop and earl grey while being firm and citrus-like in acid on the palate. It’s a fantastic subtle chardonnay that allows food to express itself wonderfully.
