Originally established in the 1860's by one of Melbourne's founding fathers, James Johnston, Craiglee Vineyard was absent from the Australian wine landscape until it was replanted in 1976 by an enthusiastic agricultural science graduate called Pat Carmody.

Now one of Austrlia's most highly regarded and awarded wineries, Craiglee is still run with the loving attention of Pat and Dianne Carmody with the occasional input of their sons.

Tasting Notes:

Craiglee Chardonnay is recognisable for its simple elegance and its purity of flavour which respects the fruit which grow on the river flats of the vineyard.

This Chardonnay is fermented and nurtured the wine in French oak barrels to maintain the characteristics of the grapes in the paddock.

Aromas of stone fruits and passionfruit, creamy oak overtones and pleasing mouthfeel.
