Domaine de la Bèche Beaujolais Villages (2025)

750mL / Beaujolais / France

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Red wine

Domaine de la Bèche's Beaujolais-Villages 2025 is a fresh, juicy Gamay from the granite hills above the appellation's core crus, made in a direct, unfussy style.

Bright red cherry and raspberry lead the nose, with a touch of crushed pepper and violet underneath. On the palate it's light to medium-bodied, with soft, easy tannin and lively acidity, finishing clean and fruit-forward with no hard edges.

2025 followed a run of well-regarded recent Beaujolais vintages, and this bottling shows the variety's natural drinkability at its best - vivid fruit without heaviness.

Serve it lightly chilled with charcuterie, roast chicken, or a simple pizza. It's also a reliable match for a wide spread of casual, shared food.

Best drunk over the next two to three years while the fruit is at its most vivid.
