Entering the prime of it's drinking window, this mature Spanish Tempranillo shows intense depth of character. Old clone vines, 24 months of barrel ageing, followed by over a decade of bottle age has led to a rich, ripe fruity and smokey red that is representative of it's terroir and winemaking style. Notes of soft red fruits, vanilla, cola and leather make for interesting and unique wine that will pair perfectly with rich red meats. Tannins have softened over time although present acidity keeps the wine feeling alive. A show-stopper at your next sunday BBQ.
