Originally established in the 1860's by one of Melbourne's founding fathers, James Johnston, Craiglee Vineyard was absent from the Australian wine landscape until it was replanted in 1976 by an enthusiastic agricultural science graduate called Pat Carmody.

Now one of Austrlia's most highly regarded and awarded wineries, Craiglee is still run with the loving attention of Pat and Dianne Carmody with the occasional input of their sons.

Tasting Notes:

The Craiglee Vineyard Shiraz LTV is dark red with luminous crimson highlights. It has scents of dark fruits, with a hint of white peach contributed by the viognier, some mineral elements and an abundance of savoury pepper and spice.

The palate is savoury with profuse spice and pepper, rich, ripe and fleshy with clean acid and fine tannin.

Dangerously easy to drink!
