Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc is a French wheat beer, a lighter, more citrusy take on the standard 1664 lager in the same blanc, or witbier, style, also sitting at 5% ABV but built for a different kind of session.

Expect a soft, cloudy body with citrus and a touch of spice on the nose, low bitterness, a smooth mouthfeel from the wheat and a bright, zesty finish that's noticeably lighter than its lager sibling and easier to drink several of.

Serve it cold in a tall glass, with a wedge of lemon if you like the French bars' habit, on a warm afternoon. It's best drunk young, while that citrus character is at its brightest and most lively.
