Bitburger Premium is a German pilsner, and one of the country's best-known draft-style pils, pale straw in colour with a tight white head.

The aroma leans grassy and floral, with a clean malt base underneath that never gets sweet. Bitterness is firm and well up front, carrying through a dry, crisp finish, and the body stays light and highly carbonated throughout, giving it that unmistakable snap a draft-style pils is meant to have, without ever feeling heavy in the glass.

Pour it cold into a tall pilsner glass. Like most pilsners, it's at its best fresh and cold, not held onto for later, since that grassy aroma is at its sharpest early.
