An intense nose of ripe red fruits and light fruit compote accompanied with the sweet and spicy notes of high quality oak and vanilla... Magnificent intensity. The palate shows a well structured intensely flavoured wine with red fruits dominating and hints of black fruit. Fine grainy tannins with some hazelnut from the quality oak. What a belter !!!!

Black Dog Shiraz |
| 750mL |
This Black Dog is a classically Australian styled Shiraz whose name hails from our second ever vintage in 2001 when cellarhands noted that the wine from our most spectacular hilltop block of estate shiraz was “as black as dog's guts”. The nickname caught on amongst family and friends, so today, provided vintage conditions deliver us a shiraz of suitable depth and concentration to do the name justice, a new Black Dog is born.

In the mouth the first taste is gentle, warm and rounded. The wine reveals a very distinct character of ripe fruit with touches of fruits of the forest. The tannins of the wood deliver a gentle, spicy aftertaste of hazelnut. Glyceric and very well structured, remaining in the mouth a long time.

By Farr 'Farrside' Pinot Noir |
| 750mL |
Farrside with each vintage continues to show more masculinity, structure and savoury components than the other two Pinots. Deep, spicy, and mineral is the being coming of Farrside. A balanced array of red and black fruits, it is fresh and edgy. Quite intense flavours smoothly driven by long tannins. Great weight, density and precision.

Burn Cottage Pinot Noir |

| 750mL |

This is the most feminine of the three vintages to date and possesses the most finely delineated palate. While not technically higher, the acidity comes across as the freshest of the three vintages and this combined with the most delicate tannins creates a lovely contrast with the more muscular 2009 and 2010 vintages. It has a seamless finish but for now the wine is tightly wound and will require some more months in bottle to begin to open.

Bright, succulent and ripe red fruits create an inviting first impression of this classic Ata Rangi Pinot Noir. As the wine unfolds, delicate floral aromas emerge - think of dark, velvety roses. Tannins are very fine, very supple. The long, long finish is laden with fruit weight and intensity that promises rewards from careful cellaring.

Ten Minutes By Tractor Judd Pinot Noir |
| 750mL |
Sweet fruit and dark, adult aromas set up a dialogue that is mediated by quite prominent, appropriately handled oak, which needs its level of assertiveness to bring each thread in the aroma profile together. The palate is bright and mouthwatering, with a sweet, bright strawberry fruit mixed with crunchy sap, spice and caramel.

The aroma is dark and precise, showcasing brown spice, deep red fruit, dried peel and caramel. The palate structure on this wine is sensational. The acid is mouthwatering, like a glass of orange juice first thing in the morning (before a lovely bacon sandwich). Tannins are fine and a little reticent, allowing the wine's acid-focused structure to frame and present flavours with precision. Flavours are bright and well defined, ranging from citrus juice through cranberries to spice, intensely expressed and with tight focus.
