An elegant wine from one of the premium areas of Burgundy.

Marchand and Burch are at the top of their game and their wines are only improving on each vintage - this is outstanding and although not one of the cheapest wines in our store, certainly one of the best.

The palate is at once opulent, juicy and mouthwatering - a compote of assorted berries (red and blue), Satsuma plum and cherry.

Dark pepper spices adorn the back palate, and the tannins are engulfed by the above-mentioned fruit rush.

The fruit sits effortlessly in 69% new oak, adding another dimension to the structural and flavour layers.

The Attunga 1865 Shiraz is perhaps Kilikanoon's most special wine. About 900 individual vines, planted in the early 1860s in the Leasingham subdistrict of the Clare Valley and still producing tiny quantities of very complex fruit. The vines are tended with loving care to ensure their continued good health. Dry grown of course.

Pure elegance in a bottle. Textured pinot noir with all the characteristics of a Premier Cru. Wonderful wine. One to remember.

Clear purple color of medium intensity Nose of over ripe fruit, garden herbs, dusty earth, boysenberries and de cassis.

Finely balanced, medium acid and full bodied with fine structure. Palate in line with the nose with raisins to add to the mix. This wine has elegance and a pleasant finish. This has a fine future ahead.

Frightening price tag aside, Pizzini's flagship Nebbiolo sports an incredibly bright and intense nosewhere smells of tobacco,tea leaf,rose hip,redcurrant and sour cherry set the tone for a mouthful of wine that's finely tuned, cherryish and framed by a wave of ultra-fine tannins to finsh.
