Italian Red Wine

The nose shows lifted dark cherry with subtle spice and violets leading to flavours of cherry and marzipan entwined with subtle notes of rose and tar. Soft fine tannin and balanced acidity giving length and persistence.

It's a deliciously juicy wine with dark currant, roasted meat and subtle smoky notes; it's fleshy yet with good savouriness and glossy tannins. Absolutely lovely. Fine and silky tannins slide across the palate with a lovely rounded power. The finish has structured depth that goes on for a mile and makes you wish for a plate of Osso Bucco. What a match.
